Supported platform combinations, Join Code behavior and version boundaries for crossplay.

How it works

01

Big Walk is available on Windows PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, and the official FAQ says players on different systems can play together.

02

A host starts a session and other players join through the platform friend list when available or by entering the short Join Code shown by the host; the code can be found before starting or in Session Details after starting.

03

The Mac App Store version does not support Game Center, so players using that version must use a Join Code rather than the platform friend-list route.

04

Big Walk has no public online matchmaking; the friend-list route surfaces friends on the same platform, while anyone with the Join Code can join unless the host controls the session.

05

Players can play together when the first two components of their Big Walk version numbers match; the third component may differ.

06

Big Walk is not a random-matchmaking game, and the official FAQ says no other platforms are planned at this time; therefore Xbox is not part of the currently documented crossplay matrix.
